Sunset Hotel
The Sunset Hotel in Monteverde is located on the way to the famous Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. Situated in a quiet area, you'll have full opportunity to enjoy the fantastic views of the sun setting over the Gulf of Nicoya (Pacific). There are private trails around the Sunset hotel that are great for bird watching and where you can find an old strangler fig tree, a small banana plantation and a variety of different flowers.

Monteverde is the perfect destination for nature enthusiasts. A lot of different trails in various types of forests offer you the chance to see the rich biodiversity of this area. Of course the famous Monteverde and Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserves deserve a visit, but there are plenty other activities to keep you busy as well. The Sunset Hotel is a small, family run hotel with 7 rustic rooms. All have private bathroom with hot water and there is a shared balcony to see those amazing sunsets. Two bigger rooms have a private porch looking out over the gardens around the hotel.
Breakfast is included and lunch and dinner are available upon request, at the restaurant.
